Systems Unlimited will be holding our 50th Anniversary Open House on October 23rd from 1pm-5pm. Both of the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids service centers will be open to tour. Systems Unlimited is partnering with a new non-profit called the Community Inclusion Club (CIC) whose  goal is to have monthly gatherings where people with and without disabilities can form friendships. The next event will be a game night at the Oddfellows Lodge. Foosball, pool and board games as well as snacks will be provided.

The Community Inclusion Club will be meeting on December 16th at the Odd Fellows Lodge in Iowa City for cookie decorating and singing carols.

Calling all coffee and book lovers—it’s time to mark your calendars! Systems Unlimited is hosting a book fair fundraiser at the Coral Ridge Barnes & Noble on Friday, February 4th. Come bowling with the CIC! Free for people we serve.

The Phi Kappa Psi group has set up a bowling night with people we serve. It will be at Colonial Lanes in Iowa City and everyone we serve is invited! It is FREE for the people we serve due to a generous grant. Please contact Jolene Sorenson to RSVP.

A percentage of the proceeds for the entire day goes to Systems Unlimited. Not required to say you are with Systems in order to receive the percentage but helpful to let the restaurant know for counts.

Let's go for a walk! Will have a rain back up. Place is TBD.

May CIC gathering will be at the Oddfellows Lodge. This will be a potluck so be sure to let Jolene Sorenson know if you are planning on bringing something.

Two fun sisters guide you through the painting experience with acrylics on canvas! No experience necessary. Open to people we serve and staff. Contact organizer trinity.thornton@sui.org by August 12th in order to register.

Come celebrate with us! People we serve are recognized for achieving their life long goals at this fun ceremony. Presented by staff, people we serve get to walk across the stage and receive their award plaque. Systems also honors various local people and businesses that go above and beyond to help us achieve our mission. […]
