This spring has been busy and we just want to thank everyone for supporting us. We had the Barnes and Noble event on March 29 in the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City locations. Many people came out to support our day programs where each day program received hundreds of dollars worth of in-kind donations. The people we served enjoying making artwork and a specialty drink for customer’s to enjoy.
Systems also had the Open House for our new Accessible home. Thanks to everyone that came out to view our new accessible home during the Open House on April 2. We had several staff and community members come by to see the new home, have a snack and get a prize. Our favorite was seeing the men that are moving in have the chance to get to know each other better. We can already tell this is going to be a special and fun home to live in.
