This meeting, Katherine Otto Simmering from Kennedy, Gelner, Cronk & Waterman, PC will be leading our next Parent/Guardian virtual meeting to talk about Guardianship and Conservatorships. Katherine is an associate lawyer and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law with high distinction. She will be covering topics of guardianships and conservatorships as well as less restrictive alternatives such as representative payee, living will/medical power of attorney forms, IA Able accounts, Third-Party Special Needs Trusts, Self-Settled Special Needs Trust, and asset consideration for Medicaid eligibility.
